Job summary

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader in Paris is seeking a full-time IP/IT internship for January–June 2027 within the IPMT department. You will assist on domain name matters, online brand protection, and international disputes, under senior lawyers' supervision.

Ideal candidates are Master 2 students in intellectual property or digital law, with excellent English, meticulous drafting skills, and a collaborative, proactive mindset capable of handling cross-border work.

Qualifications

• Strong written and spoken English, ability to review, draft and communicate in English.
• Pursuing Master 2 or trainee lawyer in IP/digital law.
• Rigour, curiosity and team spirit are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis in trademark and domain name law, Internet law and governance.
• Draft UDRP complaints and other dispute resolution filings, preparing their annexes, and drafting cease-and-desist letters.
• Online investigations (Whois/RDAP, identification of registrants, analysis of infringing websites).
• Writing news articles on current domain name dispute resolution proceedings.
• Assisting associates with legal due diligence; assisting associates and partners with case preparation and client follow-up.
