Job summary

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader in Paris is seeking a full-time intern for the July to December 2027 period to join the Intellectual Property, Media, Technology and Telecommunications team focusing on domain name protection and ADR proceedings. You will conduct in-depth research, draft UDRP-related filings, perform online investigations, and support associates with due diligence and case preparation.

Fluent English is essential, with a Master 2 or LL.M. equivalent.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken English is essential; you must be able to review, draft and communicate effectively in English.
• Rigour, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn are important strengths.

Responsibilities

• In-depth legal research and analysis in trademark and domain name law, Internet law and Internet governance;
• Drafting all or part of UDRP complaints and other dispute resolution filings, preparing their annexes, and drafting cease-and-desist letters;
• Online investigations (Whois/RDAP, identification of registrants, analysis of infringing websites);
• Writing news articles on current domain name dispute resolution proceedings;
• Assisting associates with legal due diligence;
• Assisting associates and partners with case preparation and client follow-up.
