Hogan Lovells Cadwalader in Paris is seeking a full-time intern for the July to December 2027 period to join the Intellectual Property, Media, Technology and Telecommunications team focusing on domain name protection and ADR proceedings. You will conduct in-depth research, draft UDRP-related filings, perform online investigations, and support associates with due diligence and case preparation.
Fluent English is essential, with a Master 2 or LL.M. equivalent.
Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is one of the world’s top 10 law firms. It brings together more than 3,100 lawyers across over 36 offices in Europe, the United States, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia, advising corporations, financial institutions and government entities on the full range of legal issues they face at both the local and global levels.
Following our merger with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, effective 1 July 2026, we have joined the ranks of the world’s largest international law firms, both in terms of revenue and size.
The Paris office, with more than 190 lawyers, including 43 partners, is fully integrated into this international network and works daily on complex cross-border matters.
We advise corporations, financial institutions and public entities on all of their legal challenges, both domestically and internationally.
Within the Intellectual Property, Media, Technology and Telecommunications (IPMT) department, the Internet and domain name team, led by David Taylor and Jane Seager, is looking for a full-time intern for the periods July to December 2027.
The team focuses primarily on online brand protection, in particular the protection and recuperation of domain names and the legal framework governing their use on the Internet. It provides comprehensive legal support to our international clients, particularly digital platform operators, on complex issues relating to the protection of intellectual property rights online. David and Jane are both domain name dispute resolution panelists and this internship is an opportunity to learn from their significant expertise in the field.
By joining us, you will work on matters with a strong international dimension: domain name recovery through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings, including Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and equivalent national procedures, combating cybersquatting and trademark abusive use of domain names, strategic management of domain name portfolios, and advice on the 2026 round of new top-level domains.
