Job summary

AEI Consultants is seeking a Division Lead – Energy Services to steer the Energy Services division toward strategic growth, expand client relationships, and drive service innovation. You will oversee P&L, lead a diverse team of energy engineers, and ensure high-quality project delivery for CRE assets.

The role requires strong leadership, client management, and financial oversight skills, with a focus on building AEI’s market presence and delivering value across projects and portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, sustainability, environmental science, building science, construction management, or related field.
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
• LEED AP or LEED Green Associate
• Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical, CDP, WELL AP, CEA, ASHRAE HBDP, ASHRAE BEMP or related certifications a plus

Responsibilities

• Represents AEI’s Energy Services externally, building brand in CRE and facilities management communities
• Supports business development, qualifies opportunities, and collaborates with other division leads
• Drives sales, develops annual action plans, and manages quarterly reporting for the division
• Contributes to annual budget and P&L oversight for the division
• Oversees division hiring, staff development, and team retention
• Leads and trains staff, promoting a positive work environment
• Guides internal operations on best practices and risk management alignment
• Maintains strong client relationships and proactive customer service
• Leads expansion of offerings including energy audits, benchmarking, decarbonization, and portfolio energy strategy
• Acts as market-facing leader via client presentations, conferences, and publications
