Alvarez & Marsal in Paris is seeking an Analyst to join our Global Transaction Advisory Group. You will work on multi-disciplinary deal teams, supporting financial due diligence, and collaborating with colleagues across borders on buy-side and sell-side engagements.

The role focuses on analyzing financial and commercial drivers, valuations, and building client relationships through service line networking and marketing events.

Qualifications

• Fluent business-level English and French required.
• Big 4 training and exposure to Transaction Services, Private Equity, Audit or M&A is advantageous.
• Experience with blue-chip corporates or private equity is useful.
• Additional European language skills (Dutch, German, Swedish, Italian or Spanish) desirable.

The Team

A&M's Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is the largest transaction advisory practice outside the Big 4 audit firms, with over 1,300 professionals across 45 offices in the U.S., Middle East, Europe, Latin America, India and Asia Pacific. Unrestricted by audit-related conflicts, TAG delivers an integrated, differentiated approach to due diligence and operates seamlessly across borders. Our Paris team is growing, and you'll join bright, entrepreneurial colleagues working across the full deal life cycle—both buy-side and sell-side—for large-cap and mid-cap private equity houses, corporates and financial institutions. TAG's delivery model gives junior team members direct, regular exposure to Managing Directors and Senior Directors, helping you fast-track your development and build a genuinely international career.

How you will contribute

As an Analyst, you will work as part of multi-disciplinary deal teams in France and internationally, contributing directly to financial due diligence engagements reporting to Managing Directors and Senior Directors. Your focus will include analysing the key financial and commercial drivers and valuation considerations behind each transaction, while building broader deal experience across sectors and geographies. You will also work alongside A&M's operational and commercial professionals on combined project teams, and have the opportunity to build client relationships through service line networking and marketing events. Success in this role is measured by the quality and rigour of your analysis, your growing ownership of workstreams, and your development into a well-rounded transaction advisory professional.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a leading Grande École in Business and/or Engineering, or equivalent
• Fluent business-level English and French
• Big 4 trained - Previous experience is advantageous in Transaction Services, Private Equity, Audit and M&A
• Exposure to blue-chip Corporates and/ or Private Equity is useful
• Fluent business level English and French is essential. Additional European language skills including Dutch, German, Swedish, Italian or Spanish are highly desirable
