NetApp in Paris seeks a Director of Solutions Engineering to set objectives and strategies for the France SE organization. This high-visibility role provides leadership to SE skills development and BU coordination, delivering long-term plans and annual targets. You must be results-driven, customer-focused, and adept at internal and external partnerships.

You will oversee global SE teams, align with product leadership, and drive budgets, training, and performance metrics to meet corporate goals.

• Ability to work collaboratively with peers across Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Product teams.
• Strong understanding of storage technologies and competitive offerings.
• Ability to convey and analyse information to help customers make decisions.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.
• A demonstrated ability to manage professional level employees.
• Fluency in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Achieve organizational goals through collaboration and negotiation across a diverse set of peer leaders.
• Create an SE development strategy by assembling input from SE leaders as well as BU leadership and senior sales leadership.
• Provide management oversight to Solutions Engineers across the world to drive strategy and goals.
• Participate in strategic planning with SE VPs and sales management quarterly and annually.
• Communicate corporate strategy to employees within your function.
• Plan and direct activities including training curricula and product launch activities.
• Establish short‑term and long‑term goals and performance metrics aligned with corporate objectives.
• Build budgets for approval and ensure adherence once approved.
• Coach, mentor and educate SE Managers and District Managers.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to meet departmental goals.
