AKQA is seeking a Director, Generative AI Experience Engineering to shape AI-native experiences across commerce, content and customer interfaces. You will design architectures, prototype ideas and lead a small engineering team while staying close to the code.

You will collaborate with clients and global AKQA studios in a hybrid environment, driving AI transformation, setting technical strategy and elevating engineering standards across fast-moving projects.

Qualifications

• Frontend & Experience Engineering knowledge including React/Next.js
• Experience with AI-native architectures and orchestration
• Hands-on leadership style with deep architectural capability
• Familiar with modern AI ecosystems and tooling
• Ability to mentor and guide engineering teams

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and architecture of AI-native experience platforms from frontend to orchestration.
• Remain hands-on with engineering teams, prototyping and production acceleration of AI-enabled products.
• Mentor a team of developers, setting quality and delivery standards.
• Work with senior client stakeholders to shape AI transformation and technical roadmaps.
• Drive rapid proofs-of-concept and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
