Job summary

Cyllene Therapeutics seeks an experienced Director, IT Strategy to define and drive IT strategy in a fast-growing biotech environment spanning France and the US. You will partner with leadership to build a scalable, secure technology backbone covering software, hardware, infrastructure, and AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 8–15 years of relevant IT management, technology operations or digital transformation experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing IT strategies in a growing organization.
• Exposure to AI adoption, automation or technology transformation initiatives is desirable.
• Experience in biotechnology, life sciences or other regulated industries is a plus.
• Soft skills: Excellent communication, adaptable, collaborative and outcome-driven.
• Languages: English (spoken and written).
• IT skills: Mac environment, Office 365 and professional software.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive an IT roadmap aligned with business priorities and company growth.
• Assess existing systems, identify improvement opportunities and recommend technology investments.
• Establish IT governance, policies and processes to support scalability, security and efficiency.
• Coordinate IT projects, budgets and external technology partners.
• Develop a pragmatic AI adoption strategy aligned with business needs.
• Identify and prioritize AI and automation use cases across the organization.
• Evaluate and facilitate AI-enabled tools and solutions.
• Promote responsible AI adoption, including data security, governance and employee enablement.
• Oversee evolution and optimization of the software ecosystem, including business applications and SaaS platforms.
• Support selection, implementation and integration of technology solutions across functions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve interoperability.
• Coordinate IT infrastructure, including devices, networks, cloud services and workplace technology.
• Contribute to cybersecurity, data protection and business continuity best practices.
• Ensure reliable IT services across France and the US, with external providers as needed.
• Anticipate infrastructure requirements to support organizational growth.
