BioCatch is the leader in Behavioral Biometrics, using machine learning to protect online identities and detect fraud across financial services. As Director, Global Advisory – South EMEA & Italy, you will partner with regional sales and customers to solve complex fraud challenges, translate needs into product insights, and evangelise BioCatch’s value at executive levels.

This role requires 10+ years in fraud/financial crime, executive-level experience, and strong communications in English

Qualifications

  • 10+ years hands on experience in fraud & financial crime roles within financial services or fraud technology providers.
  • 3+ years of consultative engagements at executive level.
  • Demonstrable depth in fraud, financial crime and cyber security domains.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM/quantitative discipline.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication; ability to evangelise at conferences.
  • Expert consultative skills with the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Creativity and problem solving, active listening, resilience under pressure, accountability and entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsabilités

Position: Director, Global Advisory – South EMEA & Italy

Languages: French (Native/Fluent), English (Business Fluent) & Italian (Preferred)

Reports to: VP, Global Advisory

Summary

As Director, Global Advisory (North America), you will serve as a domain expert advisor and trusted partner to our regional sales and customer success teams. The role combines elements of subject matter expertise, consultative engagement and thought leadership. You will help our largest customers solve complex fraud and financial crime challenges, translate customer needs into product innovation, and evangelise BioCatch’s value proposition at executive levels.

Role Responsibilities
  • Consultative advisory: Provide deep fraud/financial crime expertise and consulting support to sales teams, identifying opportunities at existing and new clients.
  • Customer engagement: Meet with customers’ senior fraud and risk leaders to understand business challenges and propose solutions based on BioCatch’s platform.
  • Thought leadership: Develop and deliver content (articles, webinars, conference presentations) to position BioCatch as a leader in behavioural intelligence and device based fraud detection.
  • Evangelism: Represent BioCatch at company events, industry events and executive briefings; present complex concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.
  • Use case innovation: Identify emerging customer challenges and creative solution ideas and work with the Product team to prioritise new use cases.
  • Use case evaluation: Evaluate new use cases for technical feasibility and functional fit, and work with clients in partnership with sales to deliver value outcomes.
  • Innovation Board: Participate in the BioCatch Client Innovation Board, helping to evaluate and prioritise product innovations for our customers.
  • Market insights: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape, fraud threats and regulatory trends, and share insights with internal stakeholders across Product, Sales and Threat Analytics.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years hands on experience in fraud & financial crime roles within financial services or fraud technology providers; 3+ years of consultative engagements at executive level.
  • Domain expertise: Demonstrable depth in fraud, financial crime and cyber security domains; ability to articulate how fraud teams operationalise technology in the fraud prevention “stack.”
  • Business case & metrics: Proven ability to interpret fraud/financial crime metrics, build business cases and quantify ROI for customers.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM/quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or similar.
  • Communication & presentation: Exceptionally strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to command a room and evangelise BioCatch’s solution at conferences.
  • Consultative skill: Expert level consultative skills with the ability to collaborate, understand technical specifics and engage senior stakeholders confidently.
  • Soft skills: Creativity and exceptional problem solving, active listening, collaboration, resilience under pressure, sense of purpose, drive, motivation, coachability, competitiveness, curiosity, accountability, integrity, positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Thought leadership track record: 2+ years of experience delivering thought leadership content via articles, podcasts, panels, webinars or media interviews.
  • Growth support: Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through advisory support and domain expertise.
  • Use case development: Experience identifying new fraud use cases and influencing product roadmaps based on client feedback and business case modelling.
  • Market & threat knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and fraud/financial crime threat environment.
  • Analytical mindset: Familiar with fraud data sources, analytics and reporting.
  • Leadership: Experience mentoring, coaching or leading cross functional teams; participation in innovation boards or governance processes.
  • Innovation: Proven ability to support or lead innovation initiatives and to communicate complex concepts to non technical stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., CFE, CISSP, ACAMS) or a master’s degree.
  • Exposure to multiple industries beyond financial services (e.g., retail, telecommunications, insurance).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML or digital identity technologies; experience with AI driven behavioural biometrics.
  • Experience in marketing, event organisation or public relations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (AML, KYC, data privacy laws) and their impact on fraud prevention strategies.
  • Established network of contacts across fraud and financial services communities.
  • Multilingual abilities or experience working across different cultures and regions.
  • Proven track record mentoring teams, facilitating design thinking or strategy workshops.
