Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Director of Epidemiology & Real‑World Evidence Sciences to lead evidence generation across Oncology assets. You will define integrated evidence plans and oversee RWE studies, partnering with Global Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and HTA to support regulatory and payer decisions.

The role requires sophisticated epidemiology and RWE leadership across a global matrix, ensuring scientifically robust data and compliant execution in a fast‑moving oncology

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Psychometrics, Psychology, Biostatistics, Health Outcomes Research, Measurement Science, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Extensive pharma experience in a related role applying psychometric principles to drug development programs.
• Demonstrated track record of developing, validating, and/or implementing PRO instruments in clinical research.
• Hands‑on experience designing and conducting studies to establish MCID/clinically meaningful change.
• Experience supporting regulatory, HTA, and payer‑related evidence needs involving PRO data.

Responsibilities

• Provide budget input for Epidemiology and RWE studies ensuring projects are adequately resourced.
• Ensure all RWE activities comply with SOPs, global regulations, data privacy, and ethical standards.
• Lead external analytic and evidence-generating activities in PRO/psychometric studies.
