INSEAD seeks a Director, Development (North America) to lead fundraising initiatives in North America, managing a high‑value portfolio and driving revenue growth. The role offers hybrid work from Fontainebleau or San Francisco with travel across the US to cultivate donors.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in face‑to‑face fundraising, a BA and preferably an MBA, and a proven track record in closing gifts at scale.
INSEAD is seeking a Director, Development (North America) to join our Advancement Department. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers flexibility in location. It can be based at our Europe campus in Fontainebleau, France or at our San Francisco Hub in North America, with a hybrid working model of 3 days on campus and 2 days remote. For candidates outside the San Francisco area, a fully remote working arrangement may be considered.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Development, you will oversee face‑to‑face fundraising and pipeline development between €10k and €1million across North America, driving revenue growth and building a sustainable pipeline of high‑potential donors. You will own and actively manage a personal portfolio of high‑value prospects, delivering direct revenue through disciplined qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. In partnership with the Director of Principal Giving in North America, you will strategically contribute to the overall pipeline strength and performance of INSEAD’s North America fundraising efforts.
