Mistral.ai is seeking an experienced Software Engineer, Developer Experience to own an automated, efficient software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure code health, accelerate velocity via CI pipelines, faster builds, and secure release processes.

Location: Paris. In this role you will build and refine CI/CD, operate scalable multi-cloud infra (AWS/GCP/Azure), and drive security in development workflows, including training teams on best practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Developer Experience, or Platform engineering roles.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Go, Python) and software development best practices.
• Experience optimizing developer workflows, tooling, and automation for productivity.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, orchestrations, infra-as-code, monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Experience with multi-cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) or on-prem environments.
• Familiarity with security tooling (OWASP, SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ownership and autonomy in fast-paced startups.

• Build, monitor, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows and accelerate deployments.
• Design, operate, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure multi-cloud infrastructures.
• Identify areas for improvement and create innovative solutions that enable high developer velocity.
• Standardize DevOps practices across engineering teams and establish security KPIs and compliance measures.
• Lead training on secure coding, threat modeling, and incident response; promote a security-first mindset across the org.
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to embed security into daily workflows.
