ixolabs.ai is seeking a detail-oriented remote tester to carry out and evaluate desktop workflows across supported OS versions. You will verify that each action yields the intended result and capture clear visual evidence at high resolution.

You will work with Ubuntu 24.04, Windows 11 Pro or macOS Sonoma 14.5 as your standard environment, and you will prepare a concise technical artifact with evidence, assumptions and reproducible checks for review.

Qualifications

• Hands-on use of Ubuntu 24.04, Windows 11 Pro or macOS Sonoma 14.5 as your normal desktop system.
• Capture high-resolution evidence (>=2.5 MP) and verify each action's result.
• Provide feedback on mistakes, incomplete actions, or unreliable behavior.

Work you will do

• Carry out and assess defined desktop workflows on your supported operating-system version.
• Observe the actual application state and document whether each action produces the intended result.
• Capture clear visual evidence at the specified resolution and provide feedback about mistakes, incomplete actions or unreliable behavior.

Required background and routes

• Professional hands-on use of one of Ubuntu 24.04, Windows 11 Professional or macOS Sonoma 14.5 as your normal desktop system. Have legitimate access to the relevant software and your own compatible computer when applying.
• Capture images exceeding 2.5 megapixels: use a sufficiently high-resolution display, or span two monitors each at least 1920×1080 into one capture. An individual 1080p image is insufficient. Hardware, licences and virtual machines are not supplied.

Deliverables

Submit the completed technical artifact or assessment with its supporting evidence, explicit assumptions, reproducible checks where applicable, and concise reasons for each material judgment. Address review findings within the agreed scope.

Location and schedule

Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with no guaranteed weekly volume. Availability planning can include 40 hours per week depending on the track. IXO confirms the applicable timing before work.

Pay and working terms

$65 • $75/hr USD. The agreed hourly rate, scope, schedule and acceptance criteria are confirmed before work starts. Applying does not guarantee an assignment.
