Jobtailor in France is seeking a Design Systems Engineer to build and evolve Purse across web, mobile, and tablet, aligning design with code through close engineering collaboration.

You will craft token systems, write accessible documentation, run system audits, and help product designers turn recurring needs into scalable improvements, while shaping the long-term Purse vision with the Design System Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to a design system at scale, including components, variants, and tokens.
• Strong understanding of design token systems, naming, and theming.
• Experience writing design system documentation for designers, engineers, and PMs.
• Accessibility expertise (WCAG) and inclusive design.
• Able to evangelize a design system and translate decisions for non-design stakeholders.
• Ability to handle complex support requests and create docs/lintrules.
• Nice to have: B2B SaaS or fintech experience.
• Nice to have: multi-language/internationalization challenges.
• Nice to have: tokens pipeline experience.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain components, patterns, and tokens in Purse, partnering with engineering to ensure design–code parity across web, mobile, and tablet.
• Write and maintain component documentation for designers, engineers, and AI tools—usage rules, anatomy, variants, accessibility, and worked examples.
• Run audits, support product designers, and turn recurring needs into systemic improvements with the Design System Manager to evolve Purse toward long-term vision.
