Keller Executive Search represents an established architecture and design firm seeking a Head of Design Operations in Paris. The role leads a team of designers and technical staff, overseeing budgets, workload, and ensuring outputs meet international standards.

Work closely with pre-construction and delivery teams, manage freelance resources, and mentor a high-performing team. Fluency in French and eligibility to work in France are required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in an operational leadership role in architecture/design.
• Experience leading and developing design/technical teams with workload planning.
• Proficiency in French; eligible to work in France.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on operational leadership to design teams and freelancers across concept and technical design phases.
• Manage workload allocation, resourcing, and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee budgets and cost control across the design function.
• Review and quality-check technical plans to meet standards for international clients.
• Act as client-facing point of contact on design quality and delivery for international clients.
• Strategically deploy freelance resources to scale the team when needed.
• Coach and develop a high-performing team of creative and technical professionals.
• Coordinate with pre-construction and delivery teams for smooth handover from concept to completion.
