Automotive-Cells-Company- in Nouvelle-Aquitaine invites a seasoned Design Office Leader to drive mechanical design and cell assembly solutions for Lithium-ion batteries, aligning with customer and business needs. You will shape engineering standards, lead a team of technicians, and ensure processes, design-to-cost, and manufacturability are embedded in all projects while delivering on QCDP objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
Experience managing a mechanical design team is strongly preferred.
English at B2 level or higher is mandatory.
Bachelor-level degree in Mechanical Design or Production Engineering required; engineering degree is a plus.

Responsabilités

Lead the Design Office Team and develop CAD for cell and module systems.
Supervise daily engineering activities to ensure timely, quality deliverables.
Allocate resources, manage workload, and prioritize activities.
Develop internal standards and ensure consistent best practices across projects.
Coordinate design and development of mechanical components in line with customer and regulatory requirements.
Monitor KPIs and align project priorities with team execution.
