Verkor in Grenoble is seeking a Battery Pack Architect to define the battery pack system architecture, ensuring performance, safety, and manufacturability. You will be the main technical lead, driving design decisions and integrating subsystems.

The ideal candidate possesses a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and has a minimum of 5 years experience in battery architecture, preferably in the EV sector. Required skills include proficiency in DOORS and knowledge of IEC standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in battery system architecture, owning complete pack programs.
• Experience with EV OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers preferred.
• Knowledge of standards: IEC 62619, UN 38.3, GB38031.

Responsabilités

• Define the overall battery pack architecture.
• Ensure consistency between cells, BMS, and power electronics.
• Drive architectural trade-offs considering performance, cost, and risk.
