Automotive Cells Company (ACC) in Bruges, France, seeks a senior Design Office Lead to guide the development of mechanical components and cell assemblies for battery systems. You will shape engineering standards, drive process improvements, and support a growing engineering organization.

The role focuses on team leadership, design-to-cost practices, and ensuring project delivery with high quality while aligning with customer requirements and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design within automotive, battery, or related sectors.
• Experience managing a mechanical design team is strongly preferred.
• English (B2 level) is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Design Office team and supervise day-to-day engineering activities to ensure project delivery on time and with quality.
• Develop, maintain, and animate internal standards and technical references for engineering excellence.
• Coordinate design and development of mechanical components and cell assemblies meeting customer and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and drive action plans to achieve targets and ensure alignment with project priorities.
