Kronospan Mdf SL. seeks an ambitious Design Center Manager for our Budapest operation. You will plan interior designs, assist customers, and coordinate with partners across Europe while leading the design center team.

The role requires travel during training and offers the chance to shape a multinational design center, with a competitive compensation package and a clear path for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Finished university/college studies in architecture or interior design.
• 5–10 years experience in a similar field.
• Marketing experience is an advantage.
• Fluent Hungarian and English; another European language is an asset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Professional attitude with a persuasive, kind and positive personality.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD 3D, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Cloud, and V-Ray for SketchUp.
• Travel during training phase across Szombathely, Mohács and other sites in Europe.

Responsabilités

• Plan and prepare interior designs and furnishing layouts.
• Assist customers by appointment and walk-in with suggestive selling.
• Coordinate with departments, external partners and industry professionals.
• Improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote the brand.
• Collaborate with branch staff to ensure excellent customer service from concept to delivery.
• Organize events and promotional activities, including the Design Center opening.
• Manage workflow organization and planning.
• Lead and supervise staff at the Budapest Design Center.
• Prepare and present reports.

For our newly established design center located in Budapest, we are looking for an ambitious, experienced and committed: Design Center Manager

Main duties and responsibilities

• Planning and preparing interior designs and furnishing layouts
• Assisting customers—both by appointment and on a walk-in basis—with their selections, utilizing suggestive selling techniques
• Communicating with other departments, external companies, partners, and industry professionals regarding projects
• Continuously improving sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional brand image
• Collaborating with other branch staff to ensure excellent customer service—from the initial project or concept through to delivery and beyond—and supporting other marketing activities
• Actively participating in the organization of events and other promotional activities (including the Design Center grand opening event)
• Managing overall workflow organization and planning
• Leading and supervising staff at the Budapest Design Center
• Reporting

Requirements

• Finished university / college studies, preferably in architecture or interior design
• 5-10 years experience in similar field
• Marketing experience is an advantage
• Fluent Hungarian AND English, another European language knowledge is an asset
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Professional attitude with a persuasive, kind and positive personality
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD 3D, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and V-Ray 3.6 for SketchUp
• During the training phase extensive travel required before the Design Center opening (3-4 months product training in Szombathely / Mohács, and in other European sites and Design Centers)
• Capability of working independently, high tolerance of stress level
• Highly self-motivated personality with a can-do attitude
• Efficiency at work; problem solving skills
