Pierre Fabre Laboratories’ R&D Dermatology division is seeking an experienced Dermatology Project Leader to drive scientific strategies and advance dermatology drug discovery programs from early discovery to early clinical development.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, supervise researchers, ensure high‑quality data and documentation, and collaborate with translational research, clinical development, and data science to manage timelines, budget, and risk.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD/PhD with postdoctoral training in immunology, dermatology, or cellular and molecular biology.
• 5-10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• Proven track record in leading dermatology drug discovery programs from preclinical stages through early clinical development.

Responsabilités

• Lead dermatology drug discovery programs, shaping and implementing research strategies to advance new therapeutics from early discovery through early clinical development within multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide scientific team and lab supervision, including mentoring of research associates and ensuring high standards of data quality and documentation.
• Collaborate with translational research, drug discovery, clinical development, and data science to ensure effective plan implementation, timelines, budget oversight, and risk mitigation across preclinical and early clinical phases.
• Oversee internal and external resources in partnership with project management and coordinate preparation and submission of documentation for reviews and decision-making.
• Contribute to scientific evaluation of external R&D opportunities and partnerships, including academic collaborations and biotech alliances.
