Job summary

VINCI in Grandpuits, France is seeking a Deputy Lead ICSS to oversee system integration for complex refinery projects. The role requires leading instrumentation interfaces, FAT/SAT planning, and DCS/ESD system implementation on-site.

You will manage cross-discipline teams, ensure regulatory compliance for each project phase, and provide technical guidance to engineering contractors. Fluency in English and French is expected, with ASAP starting for a one-year renewable engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and good communication skills.
• Experienced with OPERCOM and ICAPS.
• Knowledge of the OPERCOM methodology, VSD / VFD and SIMOCODE.

Responsibilities

• Transversal management of the specialist specialists and supervisors.
• Review and define the legal requirements and notify bodies for each project phase.
• Ensure link and interfaces between Instrumentation and system.
• Manage and prepare system FAT / SAT for projects under responsibility.
• Lead implementation of DCS / ESD / F&G systems.
• Work with precom / com team to implement OPERCOM (ICAPS) methodology and follow up.
• Provide technical support to Engineering Contractors in design of system, DCS, ESD, Fire & Gas and monitoring systems.
• Verify resources for instrument specialty and notify management if additional resources are needed.
• Ensure engineering activities and construction align with schedules; alert on slippage.
• Organize and coach instrumentation project team and staffing within the overall project.
• Support site system personnel on system topics and liaise with authorities and partners.
