Job summary

Altea Energy seeks an ICSS & Instrument Engineer to coordinate instrumentation and ICSS activities for a major FPSO development, ensuring safe, compliant designs and seamless integration with EPC contractor teams.

The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary groups, supporting procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up, with assignments in Paris and abroad. Fluent English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of instrumentation and ICSS engineering experience in Oil & Gas.
• Offshore FPSO or EPC project experience highly desirable.
• Fluent English mandatory; French is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ICSS & Instrumentation engineering activities during detailed engineering and procurement.
• Supervise EPC Contractor ICSS/Instrumentation engineering.
• Ensure design operability, maintainability and safety compliance.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up teams.
• Interface management with process, safety, electrical and other packages.
• Participate in construction follow-up and commissioning activities.
• Prepare discipline progress reports and drive continuous improvement.
