Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Decorator Mechanic to support beverage can decoration lines. You will set up and adjust decorating machines, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues to ensure quality and efficiency on the production floor.

The role requires strong reading of manuals and schematics, a mechanical mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with various shifts. Training and safety protocols are a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Proven experience as a mechanic in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems; basic electrical knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Set up, adjust, and operate decorating machines including ink systems and curing ovens.
• Monitor machine performance and resolve misprints, registration issues, and quality defects.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and replacement of worn parts.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems on decorating equipment.
• Maintain production records, logs, and spare parts inventory.
• Contribute to training of new operators and suggest process improvements.
