Crown Bevcan France SAS is seeking a skilled Front End Mechanic to maintain and repair front-end production machinery in our manufacturing facility. The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and performing emergency repairs to minimize downtime.

You will install, adjust, and calibrate components, collaborate with production teams, and document all activities. Training will enhance skills and knowledge of new equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Front End Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the can-making or packaging industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Relevant technical certifications or vocational training are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of front-end production machinery, including presses, decorators, and related ancillary equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on front-end equipment and implement effective repair solutions.
• Conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate new or refurbished machinery components.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve recurring equipment problems.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of new equipment.
