Altares Group in France seeks a Data Scientist to join an international data team. You will perform statistical analyses, design and deploy data science models, and collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, and Business units, with results presented in English.

The role requires a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Mathematics, Data, or Statistics, at least 3 years of experience, strong Python and R skills, and familiarity with Snowflake. A hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Responsabilités

• Perform statistical and exploratory analyses on structured data.
• Design, develop, and evolve data science models.
• Contribute to production deployment and monitoring of models to ensure industrial performance, reliability, and thorough documentation of processes.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Product, and Business teams.
• Present your findings in a clear and structured manner, including in English.

Context

Within a structured and continuously evolving data environment, we are strengthening our team by recruiting a Data Scientist. You will work on various analytical use cases within an established data team in an international context.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist, you will contribute to the team’s data science initiatives, specifically:

• Performingstatistical and exploratory analyses on structured data.

• Designing, developing, and evolving data science models.

• Contributingto the production deployment and monitoring of your models to ensure industrial performance, reliability, and thorough documentation of processes.

• Collaboratingclosely with Data Engineering, Product, and Business teams.

• Presentingyour findings in a clear and structured manner, including in English.

Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in a scientific field, specializing in Mathematics, Data, or Statistics applied to scientific or business challenges.

• Proven experience in Data Science (at least 3 years).

• Proficiency in Python and R.

• Practical experience in a Snowflake environment is highly appreciated.

• Professional English – C1 level.

• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

• Rigor, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
