Job summary

Pernod Ricard is seeking an Intern for Data Platform in Paris for a 6-month program starting March 2027. You will join a fast-moving team that builds standardized, scalable, and secure data foundations to empower business teams across the organization.

You will contribute to data pipelines, ingestion, and automation, while collaborating with data engineers and product teams to ensure reliable data availability and high-quality governance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering school or Master’s program with a specialization in Data, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Strong foundation in data engineering concepts, including SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data stack tools is a plus.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and curious attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Become a part of the Data Platform team, owning and delivering topics with autonomy but also collaboration.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the data platform, including data pipelines, data quality monitoring, and platform automation.
• Support data ingestion and transformation workflows using modern data tools (e.g., dbt, snowflake, etc.).
• Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to ensure data availability, reliability, and scalability across use cases.
• Participate in the documentation, standardization and communication of data platform components, processes, and best practices.
• Explore and prototype new tools or frameworks that could enhance the performance, observability, or usability of the platform.
