Job summary

Pernod Ricard is seeking an Intern for the Data Platform team in Paris for a 6‑month assignment starting March 2027. You will help empower data consumers by building and maintaining data pipelines, quality monitoring, and platform automation.

You will work with dbt and Snowflake, gain exposure to cloud platforms, and collaborate with data engineers and product teams. This paid internship offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering school or Master’s program with a specialization in Data, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Strong foundation in data engineering concepts, including SQL, Python, and distributed data processing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data stack tools is a plus.
• Analytical mindset and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive and curious attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Become part of the Data Platform team, owning topics with autonomy and collaboration.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of the data platform, including data pipelines, data quality monitoring, and platform automation.
• Support data ingestion and transformation workflows using modern data tools (e.g., dbt, snowflake, etc.).
• Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to ensure data availability, reliability, and scalability across use cases.
• Participate in the documentation, standardization and communication of data platform components, processes, and best practices.
• Explore and prototype new tools or frameworks that could enhance the performance, observability, or usability of the platform.
