Job summary

PCM is seeking a senior Data & AI Engineer to lead the Data Platform, governance, and AI initiatives in an international setting. You will shape data strategy, build pipelines, and collaborate with business teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data roles, strong engineering skills, and hands-on experience with dbt, Python, SQL, and BI tools. Fluency in English is essential in our global organization.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a similar Data/AI role.
• Strong data engineering skills and knowledge of modern data architectures.
• Experience with data pipelines (dbt, etc.).
• Proficiency with Python, APIs, Git, CI/CD.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Power BI, Metabase.
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, and RAG architectures.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Fluent English (C1+).

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Information Systems Department and working within the Data team, you will play a key role in implementing our Data & Artificial Intelligence strategy. In an international, multi-site industrial environment, you will work across the entire data value chain: governance, quality, master data, integration, Data Platform, Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence.

Your role will be both technical and collaborative: you will build solutions while also working closely with business teams to identify their needs and develop new Data and AI use cases.

Data Governance & Data Quality

You will contribute to structuring and deploying the Group's data governance framework:

• Contribute to defining the Data Governance model and support its deployment and management
• Define and implement Data Quality rules and KPIs
• Work closely with Data Owners and Data Stewards to define responsibilities, business rules and expected quality standards
• Contribute to MDM (Master Data Management) projects and the selection of appropriate solutions

Data Platform & Business Intelligence

You will contribute to building and operating the Group's Data Platform:

• Design, implement and administer the Data Platform
• Contribute to defining Group Data standards and best practices
• Design and develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines
• Support business teams in defining and analysing their Data and BI requirements
• Develop and maintain dashboards and Business Intelligence solutions

Artificial Intelligence

You will also play an active role in developing the use of Artificial Intelligence within PCM:

• Support our community of AI Ambassadors in identifying, testing and deploying new use cases
• Evaluate and experiment with AI solutions and technologies suited to different business needs
• Design, develop, integrate and deploy Generative AI solutions
• Develop AI agents and contribute to their integration with applications and data across the information system
• Contribute to the industrialisation of AI solutions, including security, access management, monitoring, performance and cost control
• Keep up to date with emerging AI technologies and use cases

Profile

You hold a higher education degree in Data, Artificial Intelligence or a related field and have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You have strong Data Engineering skills and a good understanding of modern Data architectures. You have significant experience in several of the following areas:

• Data Engineering and Data architectures
• Data pipeline development: dbt, etc.
• Python, APIs, Git, CI/CD, software development best practices, Docker/Kubernetes
• SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Data Platforms, Power BI, Metabase, etc.
• LLMs, RAG architectures and AI Agents
• Data Quality, Data Governance and master data management

You are comfortable working with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into practical technical solutions.

As PCM operates in an international environment, fluency in English is essential, with a minimum C1 level expected.
