Brightsmith seeks an experienced HSE Consultant to support a major data centre project in Paris. You will provide day-to-day HSE leadership, monitor compliance with French HSE legislation and project standards.

Responsibilities include site inspections, RAMS reviews, permits and safe systems of work, incident investigations, toolbox talks and HSE training, working with contractors and management teams to ensure high safety performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HSE Consultant/Manager in data centre or mission-critical construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction HSE requirements.
• Experience with RAMS, audits and incident investigations.
• Fluent English; French language skills advantageous.
• EU/French work authorisation.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day HSE leadership across the project.
• Monitor compliance with French HSE legislation and project standards.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and safety observations.
• Review RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
• Support incident investigation and corrective actions.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and HSE training.
• Work closely with contractors and project management teams.
• Monitor environmental controls and site compliance.
• Maintain HSE documentation and performance metrics.
• Promote a proactive safety culture on the project.
