QCS Staffing is seeking a Safety Manager for Paris, France, on a 12-month initial contract in the data centre sector. You will lead HSE activities on site, liaise with contractors and clients, and ensure compliance with safety standards across European projects.

You will conduct risk assessments, audits, and safety inductions, promote a positive safety culture, and drive continuous improvement in live data centre environments.

• Proven experience managing health, safety, and environmental activities on construction or operational sites.
• Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits, and compliance reviews.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders to maintain safety standards.
• Experience in construction, commissioning, or live operational environments with site safety expertise.

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary point of contact for all HSE matters, including risk assessments, permits, safety inductions, site inspections, and training delivery.
• Conduct regular safety audits, site reviews, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to HSE standards, project requirements, and client KPIs.
• Identify, assess, and manage high-risk activities while collaborating with contractors, clients, and project teams on safety planning.
• Review accidents, incidents, and near misses, implement corrective actions, and promote positive safety culture.

What You'll Deliver

• Act as the primary point of contact for all HSE matters, including risk assessments, permits, safety inductions, site inspections, and training delivery.


• Conduct regular safety audits, site reviews, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to HSE standards, project requirements, and client KPIs.


• Identify, assess, and manage high-risk activities while collaborating with contractors, clients, and project teams on safety planning and work coordination.


• Review accidents, incidents, and near misses, implement corrective actions, and promote positive safety culture and behavioural safety initiatives across site teams.

Experience required:

• Proven experience managing health, safety, and environmental activities on construction or operational sites, including permits, risk assessments, audits, and training.


• Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits, compliance reviews, and monitoring corrective actions to ensure adherence to project and regulatory standards


• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and confidently challenge clients or contractors to maintain safety standards.


• Previous experience working in construction, commissioning, or live operational environments with a strong understanding of site safety practices.
