Job summary

Marsh, based in Paris, is seeking a Data Analyst (m/f) to join our Paris La Défense team. You will build dashboards, standardize reporting, and support business, finance and operations with data insights.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree or equivalent experience, 3–5 years in performance or data management, and fluent English and French. This role offers a collaborative, international environment and opportunities for growth within a global leader.

Responsibilities

• Create basic and advanced dashboards (target summaries, revenue analyses, process efficiency) using data visualization software.
• Assist in standardizing reporting across business units and automate reports where possible.
• Provide first-level analyses to managers and colleagues and challenge conclusions.
• Interpret and explain figures to non-technical stakeholders.
• Perform data validation and error-checking to identify reporting issues with IT/data owners.

In order to strongly develop performance culture, we will count on you to:

• Create basic and advanced dashboards (target summaries, revenue analyses, process efficiency measurement, etc.) using data visualization software, in order to develop creative design solutions that improve the user reporting experience.
• Assist in efforts to standardize reporting across business units, following established processes and methodology. As far as possible, also develop automation in producing the reports.
• Provide first level of analyses to managers and colleagues, challenge conclusions
• Provide guidance in interpreting and understanding of figures
• Perform detailed error-checking and data validation, in order to identify and resolve potential data integrity and reporting issues (in collaboration with the data owners and the IT department).
• Provide support to Business, Finance, and Operations in order to support day to day management, forecasting, and transformations.
• Develop data culture inside the company and across management.

What you need to have:

• Relevant college/university degree required, or relevant experience within a similar function
• Minimum 3-5 years substantial business experience in performance or data management, data visualization and/or data quality
• Performance oriented mindset
• Excellent stakeholder and change management skills
• Fluent in English, French
