DACH Sales Lead & Player-Coach (German Native)

Job summary

lemlist is seeking a native German-speaking sales leader to own and grow the DACH region from Paris. You will personally close mid-market and corporate deals, while coaching a small team and building the DACH playbook for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

You will drive outbound, generate your own pipeline, recruit and onboard new hires, and collaborate with Marketing and Partnerships to expand the DACH pipeline beyond inbound.

Qualifications

• German native and fluent English (English is our working language)
• 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, top performer (top 20%) with numbers to prove it
• Proven DACH closing experience, including multi stakeholder deals with procurement, IT and works council considerations
• At least some formal or informal people leadership: team lead, mentoring, onboarding new reps
• Strong outbound muscle: able to generate at least 50% of your own pipeline
• Coachable and a natural coach: you can break down why a deal was won or lost and teach it
• AI fluent: you use AI daily to prospect, prepare and follow up, and you want your team to do the same
• Happy to work from our Paris office

Responsibilities

• Carry a personal quota on DACH mid market and corporate deals, from first touch to signature
• Generate a significant share of your own pipeline through outbound: cold call, cold email, LinkedIn
• Lead a team of 2 AEs; coach them through deal reviews, call reviews and live joint calls weekly
• Recruit and onboard the next DACH hires with a high bar from day one
• Build the DACH playbook: messaging, objection handling, procurement and security expectations, local competition
• Work with Marketing, Partnerships and our BDR to grow DACH pipeline beyond inbound
• Report forecast and pipeline health directly to Yann, VP Sales & Success
