Inyanga Maritime seeks a Chief Technical Officer to lead the technology strategy and engineering development for HydroWing and the Morlais project.

The CTO will steer engineering teams across mechanical, structural, electrical and marine disciplines, ensuring design verification, testing and certification while collaborating with investors and project partners to establish HydroWing as a leading tidal energy platform.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or related engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years' engineering experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proven track record delivering complex offshore engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of offshore renewable energy technologies.
• Experience managing engineering budgets and technical programmes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement the Company's long-term technology strategy.
• Define future product roadmaps for HydroWing and associated marine technologies.
• Identify emerging technologies and opportunities for innovation.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across mechanical, structural, electrical and marine engineering disciplines.
• Oversee technical governance throughout all projects.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical specialists.
• Direct the technical development of the HydroWing tidal energy system.
• Lead engineering activities supporting the Morlais 30 MW commercial deployment.
• Oversee design verification, testing and certification.
• Drive continuous product improvement through operational experience.
