Zusammenfassung

Inyanga Maritime in Europe is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to drive the HydroWing tidal energy system from concept through offshore deployment. You will lead a skilled engineering team, deliver robust mechanical designs, and oversee fabrication tooling and offshore installation activities.

The role requires strong SolidWorks/ANSYS/STAAD Pro skills, plus offshore engineering experience and travel flexibility.

Qualifikationen

This role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Strong experience in offshore equipment, heavy mechanical engineering or renewable energy.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS and STAAD Pro.
Knowledge of structural steelwork, fabrication and offshore engineering.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Experience in tidal energy, offshore wind or marine engineering desirable.
Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership desirable.
Willingness to travel offshore as projects require.

Aufgaben

Lead a small engineering team.
Support project delivery, schedules and budgets.
Lead design of HydroWing mechanical systems.
Develop offshore equipment and installation tooling.
Perform engineering calculations and FEA using ANSYS/STAAD.
Produce SolidWorks models and manufacturing drawings.
Prepare specifications, reports and design documentation.
Support procurement, FAT and offshore commissioning.
Participate in design reviews and offshore campaigns.
Liaise with suppliers, fabricators, clients and certification bodies.
