Inyanga Maritime seeks an experienced Chief Technical Officer to provide strategic technical leadership and drive the development of world-leading marine renewable energy technologies. Reporting to the Managing Director, the CTO will steer technology strategy across HydroWing and the Morlais Programme, from concept to certification and deployment.

The role requires 15+ years in engineering, Chartered Engineer status, and a proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams in offshore energy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or related field.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years' engineering experience.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience delivering offshore engineering projects.
• Knowledge of offshore certification (DNV, Lloyd's Register, ABS).
• Experience in tidal energy and offshore wind.
• Board or executive management experience.
• International business experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement the long-term technology strategy.
• Define roadmaps for HydroWing and related marine tech.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across disciplines.
• Oversee design verification, testing and certification.
• Drive IP strategy and collaboration with universities.
• Support business development and partnerships.
