Alice & Bob in Aubervilliers is seeking a Cryogenic & RF Platform Operations Manager to lead the Cryogenic & RF Platform Operations team, ensuring cold and room-temperature RF and DC cabling, cryostat maintenance, and reliable measurement chains. You will be responsible for keeping the platform available and instrumented to support qubit measurements.

This hands-on, on-site role requires 7+ years in cryogenics/RF instrumentation, strong leadership, planning skills, and proficiency in English

Qualifications

• Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Production management, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years hands-on experience with RF/microwave measurement chains, cryogenic systems, test benches, or comparable critical experimental infrastructure.
• Hands-on RF instrumentation and signal chain troubleshooting experience.
• Experience leading a technical team or readiness to take first leadership role.
• Strong planning under real-world constraints and ability to make good calls with incomplete information.
• Professional English; enough French to work day-to-day on-site, with French classes covered by the company if you want to build on it.
• Experience with dilution refrigerators or sub-kelvin cryogenics.
• Microwave measurement at low temperature or exposure to quantum technologies.
• Lean or operational excellence practice.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Cryogenic & RF Platform Operations team of 7 engineers and technicians.
• Maintain, modify, and qualify cryostats and instrumentation racks; build new systems in-house.
• Ensure platform availability and reliability; prevent downtime that would affect qubit measurement.
• Coordinate with QPU design and characterization teams.
• Travel between Aubervilliers and Paris 15th as required; on-site role.
