Job summary

OBT Group is seeking a General Manager to lead and develop the company’s operations in France, ensuring sustainable, compliant and profitable performance across the country. You will own the country P&L, shape strategy and budgets, manage multi-functional teams, and strengthen relationships with customers, authorities and the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in Africa.
• Proven senior management experience with P&L in logistics, supply chain or freight forwarding.
• Strong end-to-end operations understanding: commercial, financial and operational management.
• Experience leading multi-functional teams in complex environments.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with growth focus.
• Structured problem-solving and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own full country P&L performance: revenue, profitability, EBITDA, cash flow.
• Develop and execute country strategy, budgets, and business plans.
• Monitor pricing, margins, costs, working capital, and local cash flow.
• Identify and mitigate financial, commercial, and operational risks.
• Maintain relationships with key customers, partners, authorities, and regulators.
• Ensure high-quality operational performance and risk management.
• Lead and develop a high-performing country organization.
