Job summary

Airbus Helicopters SAS in Marignane (near Marseille) is seeking a Cost Architect Governmental Offers to anchor costing activities for government procurement. You will interact with customers, lead costing during offers, and ensure cost data integrity across design, configuration, and production inputs.

Ideal candidates have a financial mindset, strong communication, and ability to work autonomously within a team. French language is mandatory and English is advanced.

Qualifications

• Degree or ample experience in Business, Design Office, Procurement, Industry or Support matters.
• Familiar with the structure and sources of aeronautical data in Design, Configuration and Production domains.
• Interested in the financial aspect of things.
• Autonomous and a team player.
• Good communication skills required.
• English: advanced; French: mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the focal point for Program/Business on Costing quotations.
• Securing a close connection between customer needs and costing support.
• Leading and managing the costing activity during the Offer process, on quality and on time, providing robust and neutral cost information to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Preparing the cost basis for sales items: reconcile configuration, technical and operational inputs to consolidate the associated cost.
• Preparing, challenging, and synthesizing required assumptions for cost information.
• Compiling, delivering, and explaining all costing estimates to stakeholders.
• Securing knowledge management on cost evolution and requests for a given customer.
• Supporting internal customers in cost target settings and negotiation with stakeholders.
• Supporting the harmonization and rationalization of Costing methods, tools and processes.

Your future missions:

• Acting as the focal point for Program/Business on Costing quotations.

Your profile:

• We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
• You have a degree or ample experience in Business, Design Office, Procurement, Industry or Support matters
• You are familiar with the structure and the sources of aeronautical data in Design, Configuration and Production domains
• You are interested on the financial aspect of things
• You are autonomous and enjoy working within a team
• Good communication skills are required
