Job summary

Airbus Helicopters SAS is seeking a Cost Architect Governmental Offers to join the Finance Department in Marignane, France. You will lead costing activities for offers, connect customer needs with costing support, and ensure timely, high-quality cost information for strategic decisions.

This permanent role requires a background in Business or Procurement, familiarity with aeronautical data, and strong communication in English and French.

Qualifications

• Degree or substantial experience in Business, Design Office, Procurement, Industry or Support.
• Familiar with aeronautical data in Design, Configuration and Production domains.
• Interest in the financial aspects of programs and offers.
• Autonomous and able to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication skills; English advanced, French mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the focal point for Program/Business on costing quotations.
• Secure a close connection between customer needs and costing support.
• Lead and manage costing activity during the Offer process with quality and timeliness.
• Prepare cost bases for sales items by reconciling configuration, technical and operational inputs.
• Prepare, challenge, and synthesize assumptions for cost information.
• Compile, deliver, and explain costing estimates to stakeholders.
• Secure knowledge management on cost evolution and customer requests.
• Support internal customers in cost target settings and stakeholder buy-in.
• Help harmonize and rationalize costing methods, tools and processes.

Your future missions:

• Acting as the focal point for Program/Business on Costing quotations.
• Securing a close connection between the customer needs and the costing support provided.
• Leading and managing the costing activity during the Offer process, on quality and on time, providing robust and neutral cost information (e.g. estimation, cost drivers, etc.) to support strategic and operational business decisions
• Preparing the cost basis for sales items : Reconcile configuration, technical and operational inputs to consolidate the associated cost.
• Preparing, challenging, and synthetizing required assumptions for cost information.
• Compiling, delivering, and explaining all costing estimates to stakeholders.
• Securing knowledge management on cost evolution and requests for a given customer.
• Supporting internal customers in cost target settings and negotiation/buy-in with stakeholders.
• Supporting the harmonization and rationalization of Costing methods, tools and processes.

Your profile:

• We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: You have a degree or ample experience in Business, Design Office, Procurement, Industry or Support matters
• You are familiar with the structure and the sources of aeronautical data in Design, Configuration and Production domains
• You are interested on the financial aspect of things
• You are autonomous and enjoy working within a team
• Good communication skills are required English: advanced French: mandatory
