Job summary

papernest, a European scale-up headquartered in Paris, invites applications for a Corporate Strategy Analyst Intern starting January 2027. You will shape the company’s strategy and monitor performance, collaborating with senior leaders such as the CEO and CFO.

Expect hands-on exposure to strategic projects and BI initiatives while contributing to growth across markets and products. You will work in a hybrid setup, with strong emphasis on data-driven decision making, and will receive mentorship

Qualifications

• Graduated from or currently pursuing a top-tier engineering or business school.
• Early experience in corporate strategy, finance, M&A, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong Excel; interest in Power BI, Data Studio, or Tableau.
• Rigorous, organized, and autonomous.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentation materials for top management.
• Conduct advanced Excel modeling and ad hoc analyses.
• Carry out strategic analyses aligned with papernest’s development roadmap (new markets, new verticals, new products, M&A).
• Conduct competitive and market analyses (market sizing, expert calls, benchmarking, cold calling).
• Report, dashboard, and monitor financial and operational performance for COMEX and investor board.

In this role you will

As a Corporate Strategy Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for helping shape the company’s strategy and monitoring papernest’s performance. You will work closely with key decision-makers (CEO, CFO, etc.) starting in January 2027.

Your future responsibilities

Strategic projects

• Preparing presentation materials for top management.
• Conducting advanced Excel modeling and ad hoc analyses.
• Carrying out strategic analyses aligned with papernest’s development roadmap (new geographical markets, new business verticals, new products, Mergers & Acquisitions).
• Conducting competitive and market analyses (market sizing, expert calls, benchmarking, cold calling).

Performance monitoring, management, and improvement

• Reporting, dashboarding, and monitoring of financial and operational performance, including reporting for the Executive Committee (COMEX) and the investor board.
• Building, updating, and monitoring the business plan.
• Continuously improving our Business Intelligence (BI) in coordination with the Data and Tech teams, ensuring the consistency and completeness of the data.

Your profile

• You have graduated from or are currently pursuing a degree at a top-tier engineering or business school.
• You have early experience in corporate strategy, finance, M&A, or a related field.
• You have excellent analytical skills (Excel holds no secrets for you) and an interest in data tools such as Power BI, Data Studio, or Tableau.
• You are rigorous, organized, and autonomous.
• You are fluent in French and English.
