LEM is seeking a Corporate Project Quality Manager to lead the global Project Quality framework across development programs in international markets. The role ensures quality governance, proactive risk management, and continuous improvement across product lifecycles.

The successful candidate will collaborate with senior stakeholders worldwide, drive APQP, FMEA, and 8D methodologies, and champion quality excellence from development to launch in a fast-paced, global environment.

As our next Corporate Project Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and deploying our global Project Quality framework, ensuring the successful development and launch of innovative products across international markets. Acting as a trusted quality authority, you will drive governance excellence, proactively manage risks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the product development lifecycle. Key Areas of Responsibility

Project Quality Governance & Development Excellence

• Own and continuously evolve LEM's global Project Quality Management framework, ensuring a world-class and consistent approach to quality across all development organizations.
• Define, deploy, and champion Project Quality standards, methodologies, and best practices that drive excellence throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Ensure seamless integration of Quality requirements within the IPD governance model, enabling informed decision-making and robust project execution.
• Proactively assess project maturity, anticipate development risks, and drive early mitigation strategies across a global portfolio of innovation projects.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by embedding lessons learned and best practices across businesses, platforms, and regions.

Quality Leadership & Risk Management

• Serve as the global quality authority for product development projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead Project Quality activities across the development journey, leveraging APQP and IPD methodologies to secure successful product launches.
• Drive compliance with industry-leading standards including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO/TS 22163, ensuring excellence by design.
• Define, monitor, and improve key Project Quality performance indicators while ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead the resolution of customer and development quality issues through structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D.
• Champion preventive quality practices including FMEA, Six Sigma, and risk-based thinking across multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct and oversee internal and supplier audits, strengthening quality performance throughout the value chain.

Global Leadership & Community Development

• Inspire, lead, and develop the global Project Quality Engineering community across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
• Shape the future capabilities of the function by defining competency frameworks and development roadmaps for Project Quality Engineers.
• Build strong partnerships across Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to drive alignment and execution excellence.
• Cultivate a proactive quality culture where collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement are at the heart of every project.

This position requires a highly influential leader capable of driving quality excellence across a global product development portfolio, managing complex stakeholder environments, challenging decisions when appropriate, and ensuring successful product launches that meet both customer expectations and strategic business objectives.

Profile

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Proven track record in Project Quality, Development Quality, or Quality Management within a global industrial environment.
• Deep expertise in Development Quality Governance, risk management, IPD governance, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
• Strong command of APQP, FMEA, 8D, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001 methodologies and standards.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262), ASPICE, electronics, software, hardware, or semiconductor development is a distinct advantage.
• Recognized leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and drive change without direct authority.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
• Fluent in English and comfortable operating in a highly international environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
