Northern Montana Hospital is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook meals following recipes and nutrition guidelines under the supervision of the Nutrition Services Manager. You will coordinate with department staff to prepare and serve food for clients, staff and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to follow instructions, knowledge of kitchen practices, and the ability to respond to disaster drills as per protocol. Background and drug screen will be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of institutional kitchen practices, production and sanitation preferred.
• Be able to respond in a timely manner to disaster drill activities per established protocol.
• Ability to successfully pass background check and drug screen.

About the role

$1,200 Discretionary Sign-On Bonus

Under the supervision of the Nutrition Services Manager, the Cook prepares and cooks meals according to the recipes and nutrition guidelines and coordinates and assists department workers with preparing and serving food for the clients, staff and visitors.

• High school diploma or equivalent or be in the process of obtaining either
• Ability to learn and follow written and verbal instructions
• Knowledge of institutional kitchen practices, production and sanitation preferred
• Be able to respond in a timely manner to disaster drill activities per established protocol.
• Ability to successfully pass background check and drug screen.

Salary is commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
