Job summary

AIRBUS SAS in Blagnac, France seeks an experienced engineer to coordinate design activities, manage engineering work packages, and support airworthiness activities across global stakeholders. You will prepare certification documents and provide technical data to production and supply chains.

The role requires a university engineering degree, several years of engineering experience, and proficiency with tools such as CATIA, TAKSY, APS, ICC, plus fluent English.

Qualifications

• A university degree in engineering or similar will be required.
• Several years of professional engineering experience, preferably in the Wide Body Program.
• Technical delegations (Approver/Authorizer) in a relevant ATA chapter are advantageous.
• Proficiency with design tools (e.g., CCD/CATIA, TAKSY, APS, ICC) and fluent English are required.
• You can guide subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• You demonstrate personal responsibility, flexibility, and willingness to travel.

• Coordinate all design activities in terms of cost, time and quality.
• Manage and validate internal and external engineering work packages, including pre-check of design drawings.
• Prepare and follow-up certification documents and support airworthiness activities and Safety Management System.
• Provide engineering data to SB-Production, supply chain and internal customers; participate in technical meetings with stakeholders.
• Provide SB embodiment support worldwide from offer to service bulletin embodiment and final revision of deliverables.

Your challenges:

• Coordinate all design activities in terms of cost, time and quality
• Manage and validate internal and external engineering work packages, including pre-check of design drawings
• Prepare and follow-up of all relevant certification documents, e.g. Full-TRS, MAS, IA and supporting documents, and support airworthiness activities and Safety Management System
• Provide engineering data to SB-Production, supply chain and other involved internal customers, and participate to technical meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide SB embodiment support remote / on-site (worldwide), supporting activities from offer creation through execution to service bulletin embodiment and final revision of all engineering deliverables

Your boarding pass:

• A university degree in engineering or similar will be required.
• You have several years of professional experience in engineering, preferably in the Wide Body Program.
• Existing Technical Approver/Authorizer delegation(s) in a relevant ATA chapter will be of advantage.
• Technical project management experience and proficiency in handling typical design tools, such as CCD/CATIA, TAKSY, APS, ICC... are required, as well as fluent English language skills.
• You are able to give guidance to subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• A high level of personal responsibility and flexibility as well as willingness to travel are required for this position.
• You are a good team player and at the same time you are an autonomous person who has proactive ways of working;
• You have a strong customer focus.
• You have good communication skills and the ability to convince others with your negotiation skills;
• You are able to present complex topics in a simple and comprehensible manner;
• You are curious and open-minded for change and continuous improvement;
• Analytical thinking and structured working methods are very important for you
