Bonatti is seeking a Commissioning Manager to support the Head of the commissioning department with home office activities and to begin site organization (direct & indirect personnel).

The role covers reviewing contract technical annexes, preparing standards and specifications, attending kickoff and project review meetings, and coordinating Precom/Comm planning and budgets. It requires leadership at site and liaison with client COM and Bonatti teams in Ajaccio, Corsica.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of commissioning documents preparation and site activities as Commissioning Manager in power plants (preferably in French-speaking countries).
• Availability to work in Ajaccio.
• Fluent (writing and reading) in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Review and comment on contract technical annexes and prepare clarifications.
• Prepare applicable standards and technical specifications if not included in the contract.
• Attend kickoff meetings and project review meetings.
• Prepare the Precom&Comm detailed planning.
• Supervise the preparation of relevant documents and CMS data to meet contractual requirements and optimize PRECOM & COM execution.
• Review and finalize the detailed budget for precom&com.
• Interface with Client’s COM team and site BONATTI structure.
• Monitor timely mechanical completion with Site Manager and Quality Team to ensure PCOM/COM schedule.
• Manage teams for PCOM and COM activities at site and coordinate equipment usage.
• Manage subcontractors for PCOM/COM activities.
• Coordinate vendor attendance at site for PCOM/COM and monitor performance.
• Ensure PCOM/COM activities align with budget.
• Assess manpower skills and recruit additional resources with local organization.

As Commissioning Manager He/She will support the Lead of commissioning department in commissioning home office activities preparations and in the meantime He/She will start site organization (direct & indirect people).

Duties:

Home Office Activities

• Review and comment of technical annexes included in the contract; in case of discrepancies, mistakes or deficiencies in the documents, develop a list of clarifications/comments to be submitted to the respective Discipline Coordinator/Lead and subsequently to the PEM;
• Prepare the applicable standards and technical specifications if they are not included in the contract technical documentation;
• Attendance in relevant meetings as kick off meeting and project review meeting;
• Prepare the Precom&Comm detailed planning;
• Supervise the preparation of all the relevant documents and CMS data base in order to guarantee the match of the contractual requirements and the optimization of the execution sequence of PRECOM & COM.
• Review and finalize the detailed budget for precom&com
• Interface with the Client’s COM team and site BONATTI structure

Site Activities

• Constantly monitor with the Site Manager, Site Completion Coordinator & Quality Team the timely mechanical completion of the systems in order to comply the schedule of PCOM and COM of the systems.
• Monitor and follow up the availability of the personnel and equipment for a timely execution of the COM.
• Manage the teams allocated to PCOM and COM activities at site as well as the adequate use of needed equipment.
• Manage subcontractors, if any, needed to perform PCOM and COM activities at site.
• Plan the attendance of Vendor’s representatives at site during PCOM and COM and monitor their performance in accordance with Vendor’s obligation.
• Responsible to perform the PCOM and COM activities in respect of the relevant budget.
• Check the skills of available manpower for PCOM and COM purposes during the preparatory period at site. In case of need of additional specialized resources, He/She is in charge to define the personnel’s needs and to select them with the support of BNT local organization.
• Check the suitability and availability of all the equipment needed for the execution of PCOM and COM activities. In case of additional needs, He/She will define the list of equipment and will act with BNT local organization in order to procure them.
• Prepare the Precomm&Comm final dossiers
• Support the site team for red markup activities

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience of not less of 15 years in commissioning documents preparation and site activities as Commissioning Manager in power plants (preferably in French-speaking countries).
• Availability to work in AJACCIO.
• Fluent (writing and reading) in French and English.
