Job summary

mym is seeking a Security Engineer to own end-to-end security across our AWS-based, multi-account setup. You will lead threat detection, incident response, and forensic analysis, while collaborating with CTO and product teams to embed security by design.

You will drive offensive security activities, tooling, and runbooks, ensuring engineers follow secure practices and improving detection across environments. Paris-based with remote options.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience (offensive and defensive).
• Solid AWS security knowledge (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, VPC).
• Experience with forensic investigation and incident response in production environments.
• Ability to translate findings into remediation and security improvements.
• Communicate security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the security posture end-to-end, from threat detection to incident response.
• Lead threat detection and threat hunting to identify signs of compromise early.
• Drive incident qualification and response from triage to resolution; run post-mortems.
• Conduct forensic analysis on suspicious activity across AWS multi-account environments.
• Run offensive security operations (pentesting, Red Team) to sharpen detection capabilities.
• Support engineers in embedding security best practices into workflows and architecture.
• Build and maintain a security documentation framework (standards, runbooks, playbooks).
• Grow the security team and contribute to hiring decisions.
