Job summary

Wiz is seeking a Security Engineer for Product & Production Infrastructure to perform security reviews, vulnerability management, and detection and response in cloud-native environments. You will collaborate with software development and DevOps teams to secure Wiz’s products, CI/CD, and production infrastructure.

You’ll influence the product roadmap using security assessments to monitor, harden environments and build scalable security tooling.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
Experience with AWS security (or Azure/GCP with AWS exposure).
Experience securing IAM and cloud identities at scale.
Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, Pulumi).
Experience in threat modeling and security reviews of products and architectures.
Knowledge of OWASP Top-10 and web app security concepts.

Responsibilities

Lead threat modeling and security reviews across Wiz products and cloud infrastructure.
Build automation and policy-as-code to shift security left in development workflows.
Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
Drive vulnerability management and remediation, with strategic preventative controls in software supply chains.
Extend detection and response capabilities, triage alerts, and remediate incidents.
Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.
