Mistral is seeking an Engineering Team Lead for the Cloud Platform team in Paris. You will bridge engineering execution and leadership, balancing hands-on technical work with people management to deliver scalable cloud infrastructure and high-impact systems.

You’ll partner with Product Managers to define priorities, own your team's roadmap, and mentor engineers while shaping best practices, architecture decisions, and execution rituals across the squad.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8+ years of software development, with 2+ years leading teams
• Proficiency in Go and backend architectures

• Empower your team by removing obstacles and enabling high-quality delivery.
• Own the delivery of your team’s roadmap with reliability and performance.
• Partner with Product Managers to define priorities and drive impact decisions.
• Remain hands-on with architecture, system design, and technical decision-making.
• Define and evolve team processes, rituals, and best practices for scalability.
• Mentor and grow engineers to raise the engineering bar.
