ixolabs.ai is seeking contributors to evaluate medicinal-chemistry and biological datasets with scientific care. Your role focuses on technical work: identify substantive errors, provide evidence-based assessments, and make reasoning inspectable.

You will curate and annotate datasets, connect biological, chemical and data evidence, check SAR and experimental design, and write clear assessments that explain strengths, errors and limitations.

Qualifications

• MSc, PhD or PharmD in a computational life-science field with medicinal-chemistry and SAR expertise.
• Experience interpreting large omics/cheminformatics data and literature with appropriate tools.
• Strong written and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

IXO is engaging specialists to evaluate medicinal-chemistry and biological datasets interpreted with scientific care. Your contribution is technical work: make the reasoning inspectable, identify substantive errors and provide evidence that supports a reliable assessment.

Work you will do

• Curate, annotate or evaluate datasets and scientific content relevant to drug discovery and molecular analysis.
• Connect biological, chemical and related evidence, checking SAR, experimental design and computational interpretations within your expertise.
• Develop problems or case studies and write clear assessments that explain scientific strengths, errors and limitations.

Preferred background

• An MSc, PhD or PharmD in a relevant computational-life-science discipline, with medicinal-chemistry, drug-design and structure/activity expertise.
• Interpret large omics/cheminformatics datasets and scientific literature, using appropriate tools such as R, Python, KNIME or RDKit.
• Research spanning biology, chemistry and data science, clear technical communication and interdisciplinary or AI-related collaboration.

Deliverables

Submit the completed technical artifact or assessment with its supporting evidence, explicit assumptions, reproducible checks where applicable, and concise reasons for each material judgment. Address review findings within the agreed scope.

Location and schedule

Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with no guaranteed weekly volume. IXO confirms the applicable timing before work.

Pay and working terms

$95 $130/hr USD. The agreed hourly rate, scope, schedule and acceptance criteria are confirmed before work starts. Applying does not guarantee an assignment.
