Job summary

Doctolib's Doctolab team is seeking a Research Scientist to build accurate health models learned from scale health data. You will publish work and push models toward product-ready clinical features used by doctors and patients.

We value researchers who explain why questions matter and can work with real-world medical data. Paris-based with hybrid work allowed, joining a leading health-tech company.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc with significant research experience in ML or related field.
• Strong publication track record at leading ML venues is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch; ability to work with real-world health data.

Responsibilities

• Develop world models of patient health from observational data.
• Create evaluation methods for calibration, robustness, and privacy.
• Collaborate with data science and product teams to deploy research.
• Publish in ML and health informatics venues; contribute to lab agenda.
• Engage with open science: benchmarks and open-source releases.
• Help define the lab’s research direction within the company.
