Job summary

CO2 AI in Paris is seeking a Sustainability & AI Consultant Intern to support our Value Consultants on translating sustainability ambitions into measurable business value. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to client projects, learning how strategy, data, and the CO2 AI platform come together to drive real decarbonisation outcomes.

You'll collaborate with senior teammates, build prototypes using generative AI, and help analyze carbon footprints across value chains.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Masters in Business Administration, Sustainability or related field.
• Ideally at least 6 months of prior professional experience (internship, apprenticeship/alternance, or other relevant work experience).
• Strong analytical mindset and interest in working with data and structured problem-solving.
• Good communication skills and ability to synthesize information clearly.
• Interest in sustainability and climate topics.
• Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI agents and building dashboards.
• Fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Support client conversations by understanding sustainability goals and priorities.
• Assist in analyzing data using CO2 AI’s platform to identify carbon reduction opportunities.
• Help shape and deliver applied AI use cases from framing to usable tools.
• Prepare materials for client meetings and workshops (slides, summaries, insights).
• Contribute to tracking and documenting client progress during onboarding and implementation phases.
• Work with Value Consultants, Solution Architects, and data teams on onboarding tasks.
• Participate in internal discussions on sustainability topics and best practices.
• Build prototypes, agents and internal tools using generative AI.
• Analyse the carbon footprint of real industrial value chains.
